I just saw two IS-C commercials on television.
I had no idea the IS-C had a V8 that screams Why is Lexus using bogus engine noises for this car?? Why not use the real deal?

 

Yes, b/c no one else in history has ever made their engines sound different. Besides with the F-sport exhaust/intake, it does sound superb.

The new C&D has a 2 page IS-C F-sport spread on the opening cover. I was pretty surprised.

I liked the tag, they showed the IS with the top dropped "open it up"
The other page then said "then open it up" explaining the F-sport parts.

There is no fake engine sound in this ad. This is how a 335 sounds..

I like the F-Sport brakes.. I saw them up close at my Lexus dealer.. I will see what the next gen of this car has to offer as this car is blahhh to me.

 

I figured you would try to pick apart Lexus again. FWIW, BMW engines/exhausts sound like doo doo. I'm not sure why, they make fantastic engines. Maybe they have so much soul or something.

 

Your right.. I have a Lexus that I just picked apart & installed RCA & adjustable toe arms (see RCA thread in 2 gs forum).. Seriously, Whats up with the exaggerated engine notes? There is also an Is350 sedan commercial that follows suit.

Your right... Even the GS450 sounds better than the 335. I love how it revs

 

oh man, I LOVE BMW exhuast note! The 335i takes it to a new level of throaty goodness. I loved seeing that commercial on tv, DASHOCKER.

BMW means Ultimate Driving Machine, not necessarily Ultimate Listening Machine. The 335i, in particular, is a superb-driving car.
