I had an LX and loved it (actually it is called a cygnus here), I would go the LX for sure.

Different contries have different idea of what a car should be. I am sure if gas was $8 a gallon here, American's idea of a luxury car would include the ones with the smaller engines too. The IS is consider a entry level luxury car and the IS250 is a entry level trim of that entry level luxury class Well, you get the idea

Coming across a bit strong, but I have to disagree. Was curious of your recommendation of the Audi, yet you not driving em, Why?

There's really nothing like a massive yet understated SUV. I also vote for the LX.

However, as mmarshal said, if we knew what you wanted from this new Lexus we might be able to make a more sound recomenadion.
