Pics from the NYIAS 4/18/09

I had an opportunity to attend the Autoshow yesterday in NYC. There were not as many concept cars as last year but I was pleased with many of the upcoming and present models being offered by the various auto makers.. GM impressed me with there 2010/2011 line up of cars.. The Chevy Cruze (pictured below in plum) has a Euro look to it with the roof fin & Audi A4 like sheet metal. The new Buick Lacrosse really looks fantastic in person & make the ES & GS look like the Olsen twins

The chevy looks good but are they serious? They basically ripped off the new 7 rear end, from the tail light to that long chrome trunk piece

Awh man, I was there yesterday as well. You must have been there in the morning or evening. It was CRAZY packed when I was there.

I totally did not see the Fisker and I'm pretty pissed about that.

I thought the new Lacrosse was awesome. As is the Taurus SHO, Scion IQ and SL65 AMG Black Series.

I'm glad to hear that a couple of you guys agree that the new LaCrosse is a looker. I just happened to walk by the Buick display on my way out of the Chicago show and thought, whoa what is that. Very nice looking car in person. I hope it does well for them, but it might be a tough sell to get it to appeal to a wider audience than other Buicks.
