Default Jack Clark's car collection

I thought you guys will enjoy this, talking about the worst athletes to take financial advice from, you know the usual suspects, Latreel Sprewell, Mike Tyson, etc..http://www.//sports.yahoo.com/top/ne...yhoo&type=lgns I bet you don't know about Jack Clark, who used to play for the Red Sox, he was a car fanatic and owned 18 cars! info below
The four-time All-Star slugger had quite the fleet of automobiles (18 of them) when he filed for bankruptcy in 1992 while still a member of the Boston Red Sox.

One story says Clark was once on his way to the ballpark for a game when he passed a car lot. Clark saw something he liked and dropped in to buy two sports cars for $90,000 each before continuing on to the game. At the time he filed for bankruptcy, Clark still owed money on 17 of his 18 automobiles; he had debts of over $11.4 million and assets of nearly $4.8 million.

The 18 include
Ferrari F40
Ferrari Mondial
mb s500
mb 500sl
mb 600sl
3 GMC vans
chevy suburban
GMC Typhoon
GMC Syclone
1932 ford hot rod
1955 ford crown victoria
1955 ford t bird
1957 lincoln convertible
1957 lincoln coupe
1957 pylmoth fury
1934 ford sedan

Wow what a diverse and interesting collection, but the F40 is my pick!

Is this the same Jack Clark that played for the Cardinals? His swing was a beast when he connected!

Yeah that's him, I loved Jack Clark when he played for the Cards, one of the best power hitters of his time, he did some drag racing after bball and was always a car guy, too bad he fell on hard times.

Jack Clark was awesome, but one of the WORST money handlers ever. At one time, he was neck and neck with Reggie Jackson on personal car collection. He bought and sold over 100 cars, the 18 owned was at the time of bankruptcy. Guy pi$$ed away his entire fortune in 4 1/2 years.

Reggie owns 100+ currently, was once over 500.

Tyson story (true)- once bought a Lambroghini, drove it 12 blocks, couldn't stand the clutch in NYC traffic, and traded it for a Rolls Royce, took a $125K bath for owning the car LESS THAN ONE HOUR

I dont count GM cars as anything. Its like trash collecting. The Ferrari's and Benzs are a different story
