Question KIA soul VS Scion Xb VS Nissan Cube

I was wondering what model you guys think is the best/ coolest / most appealing ???? Now we all know that the Scion was the pioneer of the strange looking econo box, but I think the competition is producing some cool stuff for even cheaper. I wish I had something cool like this for my first car. I rocked an 86 civic 4 speed/

can you elaborate ???? I think the KIA is cool, but I still think the Scion is worth the extra money. I think the body style of all of these cars will lend themselves well to mods like custom wheels, body kits, and suspension mods

For me they all look ugly, so exterior is a wash. I like the interior of the Soul the best, than the Nissan Cube. I hate the interior of the xD or any car with a center gauge cluster. It just turns me off. I don't think any of them are "Cool" looking either. The Soul has more HP than the Cube, so that would probably be my choice if I had to buy one of these 3 cars. Some magazine tests I've seen have their average MPG of the Soul being the best of the 3, so that is another plus for the Kia.

I think the Nissan and the Kia have the kiddish look that the original Xb had.... the new Xb looks all grown up!!

Personally, I like the look of the Nissan....

The Kia Soul has the best gas mileage, lowest cost, best warranty coverage. It will most likely be the cheapest to insure as well.

The xB has the most power, better "community", resale value, and brand image. And it does have the most cargo space of the whole bunch.

The Cube is ugly (and not in a good quirky way), is a gas guzzler for its size and power, has the least amount of cargo space, drum brakes, and is ugly (yeah, it's that bad).

I would go with the Kia Soul if I was looking for a bargain sale. However, the xB has a better enthusiast community, and resale value is important if you're not going to keep it.

remember these cars are designed and built for the very young driver. These will most likely be filling the lots of local high schools. These are not cars to compare to our high Lexus models. I guess a better question to ask would be, if you were 16 and getting your first car what would you pick

I'll compare them to a slightly used 1-2 year old car. At the price of these ugly, slow, cheaply built "street racer" scene boxes, I'lo be looking at a top end Civic Si.

Hard to really imagine what I would buy if I were 16 today, but a lot of what I liked back when I was 16-18 shaped how I mod cars today. With that, I probably would be looking for something I can put an aftermarket deck in the dash. That means traditional double DIN for a nice 7" screen. Something that has mod potential. Doesn't have to be a monster, just able to find aftermarket parts for it. I also liked good old American Muscle hot rod cars back when I was 16-18 in the late 80s. Always wanted a 69 Camaro, or any Camaro, had a chance to buy a 65 Mustang which I regret till this day I didn't get it. Love old school hot rods looks as well as import tuning and mild VIP Style tuning.

I guess that would mean I wouldn't pick any of these cars above. Today, I'd probably choose the 2010 Camaro SS, or a Hyundai Genesis Coupe.

I lost all respect for the the xB when it got bigger and fatter.....not to mention the xB completely lost it uniqueness.

I'd take the Kia or Cube over it any day
