The 2010 Lotus Exige S 260 Sport has 257 HP, making it the most powerful Exige ever.
Looking at all the over-inflated supercars and luxobarges debuting at the 2009Geneva Motor Show, we were just thinking we needed something light, simple and fast. It looks like the 2010 Lotus Exige S delivers.
The aerodynamic enhancements are based on those of the Lotus Exige GT3 concept from Geneva 2007. The new wing is 7.1 inches wider, 1.8 inches higher and 2.4 inches further back. It also looks damn sexy. The new mounting style also increases stiffness (not just in our pants either) and better manages airflow. That wing alone provides 93 pounds of downforce at 100 mph. There's also new air intakes in the front bumper that feed the oil coolers and a larger aperture for the radiator. Also check out the new front splitter that wraps all the way around to the front wheel arches.

Fianlly a Lotus with *****. Handling will take you so far. Why not amazing handling with hardcore power. I had a short but very insane ride in an exige and it reminded me of an extremely cramped s2000 that handled more nuetrally ( or at least it felt that way from the passenger seat)
Sweet..... too bad getting in and out of one is such a pain in the butt. I don't think you can ever park next to another car because you have to swing the door out all the way just to enter/exit. Oh, and the stiff ride makes it difficult to be a daily driven car. I don't think I'd be able to stand a 40+ mile daily commute in that car. The track.... now that's a different story.
