Tesla Motors began taking orders yesterday from customers in Canada, and will begin delivering Canadian cars later this year. This is great news for Canada's many car enthusiasts, including scores of Tesla fans who have written passionate e-mails over the years about why Tesla should go north. We listened to you - and we look forward to delivering your cars starting in the fourth quarter of 2009.

Well that's very cool. I could go for a Tesla, I'd like them to cost a bit less though; but maybe if you work out total cost of car over its life time the price is warrented.

There's the Model S sedan that'll be cheaper (granted it's not a sports car but still)
