Post Audi A4 Allroad quattro unveiled

A vehicle that knows no boundaries: Audi is launching the A4 allroad quattro. With its permanent all-wheel drive and increased ground clearance, the A4 can handle any road or trail; it also offers driving pleasure – even on unpaved surfaces. Naturally, the Audi A4 allroad quattro features all the innovative technologies which impart to the A4 model line its superiority: a range of powerful and highly energy-efficient engines, Audi drive select (intelligent handling technology), the high-tech S tronic transmission, and innovative communication and assistance systems. The vehicle will be available in early summer at a basic price of 37,100 euros.

Tarmac with a few inches of snow on it... This will sell in areas near fancy ski resorts.

The first Allroad was one of my favorite SUV alternatives a few years ago...cool "uber wagon" concept with a good dose of performance, utility, and pretty slick looking. Better this than X3, RDX, GLK, EX, or even the Q5. I am a fan of Audi's Allroad vehicles!

I love the A4 sedan but this looks like a shrunk Q5 SUV.

The regular A6 Allroad seems more appealing in that case, from a pure visual perspective.

So, did they kill the AllRoad marque all together, or did they just merge them with the current body lines?

One thing is for sure: This car is much more meaningful than the 5-series GT.

I agree, this car has a purpose, kinda like an upscale Outback.
