Default PORSCHE 997TT featuring D2FORGED Wheels

Guys, here is another installation that was recently completed with D2FORGED Wheels.

The finish is our new Satin Silver, which is between Flat Silver and Brushed Aluminum, as far as the luster is concerned. Its a great compliment to cars like this Porsche, as its not "dull" like flat powdercoat silver, and is not a luxurious luster like Brushed Aluminum. Its hand polished, and then matte clearcoated. I hope you guys like it.

Car:
PORSCHE 997TT, H&R Suspension, OEM Painted lower mouldings, window tint.

Wheels:

D2FORGED VS5
20x8.5" - 2.0" LIP
20x12" - 4.0" LIP
SATIN SILVER FINISH - HAND POLISHED SEMI-LUSTER SILVER FACE, MATTE CLEARCOAT / CHROME LIP
PIRELLI P-ZERO NERO
245/30-20 & 325/25-20

**UPDATE - 3/2/09**

Here are a couple pics from some different photogs, that have been snapped of this car. The photogs are Damian Morys (DM FOTO), and HOVIK, and RAFAEL.

I dunno. I have mixed feelings.

the specs are sweet but maybe I'm just not a fan of that face.

maybe if it were all chrome . . .

with so many "photoshoots" you guys do with nice cars, you might want to invest in a nice photographer. I'm sure there are plenty of local high school/college kids who'd be willing to do it for free or at least minimal cost.

The pics are grainy, backgrounds really distracting, take 5minutes to take off the plate instead of blurring it out, and there are trees and poles sticking out!!

I've heard good things about D2, and photos are what we see through the internet. Just my 2 cents.

now that's just ridiculous... ridiculously gangsta!!!!

that's how it's done!

only thing i might have done differently was an inch bigger in back to get a thinner tire on the rears... you know I'm the rubberband man!

The thing has 20s already and you think it should b even bigger? So it wil have thinner tires? Please don't ever set foot in a 911 TT, EVER.

I think that works very very well. I like the look of the finish, seems very "industrial".

I didn't read the specs... but just looking... made the comment, as a lot of sport car setups i've seen had staggered setups in width, as well as diameter. 19"/20"... so the possibility was there, don't see 22's on it... so havin' said that, maybe a different profile tire... tire looked a little thick to me... and on another note, lower profile tires are better for handling, less tire roll when cornering....

...can I go set foot in a 911 TT now???

Thats actually a 25series tire, so the aspect ratio is low, but the 325 cross section does add some meat to it. I don't like the super skinny tire look on such high HP cars, you end up skittering all over the place because you can't hook up.

Maybe we'll put some D2FORGED on the NSX!

It's your car so do whatever you want but I don't like extremely low profile tire on such a beautifully engineered machine that's meant to be driven. Just my 2 cents.

Hey Coco-bun i don't want you to think these cars are garage queens, once they are out on the street we drive the hell out of them. There will be a video released in a couple days showing this so be sure to suscribe to the D2FORGED channel on streetfire.net . So no matter if its the 25 series tire on this porsche or a 25 series tire on the TT C6 Z06 vette making 700RWHP we drive them like they were made to be driven.
