Smile 17" BBS on my Passat:)

Finally got the new 17" OEM BBS Madras sports wheels, optional equipment on the 2002-2004 Passat W8. These wheels are very hard to find, only on the minority of W8s equipped with the sports package. When I had the opportunity to buy a new, unused set, I immediately jumped.

Drove a few 1.8t gls and really I liked the bottem end grunt of the 2.8L, plus I love it's low exhuast note. To add to that, all the "techie" features (memory mirrors/seats, power folding mirrors, heated windshield fluid, rain sensing wipers, climatronic), are only available on the GLX model, which is 2.8L mandatory Have never regretted it. The V6 is still faster than a stock 1.8

a chip will fix that, and the 250lbs of torque should make up for the lack of grunt along with it lol. looks nice enjoy

Nice. The only thing I dislike about those wheels are the two-piece-ness of it. Not sure if it's really two piece but I don't like that look, otherwise very nice.
