I thought the car was gorgeous in the press pics but this first "in person" picture certainly leaves much to be desired.

I am hoping the wheels are what is throwing me off because the car as a whole looks sort of dull, maybe even bland.

 

This car appears to be very long. As long as the S-class. I guess AM really wants to compete w/Porsche,CLS,Audi A7. I think the XFR looks better except the front & headlights.

 

My fav AM car is still the Vantage.

 

We dont have a sense of scale but that front overhang looks a lot bigger than the back. Sure those long headlight dont help it at all, they should have stuck with ones form DB9.

 

It looks much better than the 4 door Porsche. I cant wait to hear Jeremy Clarkson tear that thing to pieces

 

I bet the Panamera is still going to drive better than the Rapide though ...
& my favourite AM is still the DBS, it has a much better road presence than the Vantage.
Yup, those wheels on the Rapide look horrible on the car ...

 

 

Interior is nice, but exterior-wise I would rather take a Panamera over this thing. Exterior is too plain-looking and underwhelming to me.

 

The wheels are absolutely killing this car in the press shots but what a gorgeous vehicle. Absolutely sublime compared to the mess of lines and bubbles that is the Panamera.

Simply gorgeous But I would rather just have a DBS, ... unless you have one already, & want a second Aston ...

 

For triple the price, it better make an impression...

 

Looks like the Panamera should have better rear headroom, & I prefer the Panamera's interior, but the Rapide's exterior blows it away ...
