and i just decided to look at some LS 460 Commericals, they are so well made, makes the LS seem like a true luxury linear, but still able to complete with the S,its main competatior.

yes, it really is that quiet. A good size V8, boderline tame. Paper comes in gobs of a little bit by only a few of the most capable drivers in the company.

 

yup, the ls400 champaign class commercial is still my all time favorite LS commercial

ls460 commercials are all very nice, but none of them really pop to me

 

I never have seen an LS commercial on TV so I am glad you posted them AJL0365. They are all great!

iKenn, it is REALLY quiet inside the LS460. If you don't have the air or radio on you will find yourself looking at the tach to see if it is running.

I am a person who has traditionally switched cars every two years or so but the LS460 has impressed me so much that I can't forsee ever parting with it which I never thought I would say about any car.

 

I had a chance of driving the LS460 and let me tell you, it feels like the car is off half of the time (no it wasn't the hybrid version) either. The car is top of it's class.

 

There was a Lexus commercial that ran a few times about the 'passionate' pursuit and I think it was mostly about the "what is luxury?" and the SC430 - had exquisite music. Can't find that now.

THis was the commercial that ultimately defined the LS smoothness (and Lexus for that matter)

This is why I like lexus and don't quite understand when people b&tch about the road isolation and the numb driving.

When I'm on the road, I don't want to feel the damn bumps, the choppy roads, the tire debris/shreds....... since 90% of the driving is straightaway.

The commericial that stands out to me was the Ls400 preview commercial that played back in late 1988 demonstrating the LS400's abs system. In this commercial, a tractor trailor jackknifed and its cargo consisting of logs fell onto the roadway. There was a white LS400 that was traveling behind said tractor trailor. The driver of the LS400 was able to stomp and steer to avoid an accident due to the "advanced abs system" in the LS400.. Great commercial for the day along with the 3 second Infiniti Q45 preview commercials.
