Um.....what?
Hahaha......I'm sorry but I have to laugh. There is no rich history and tradition here........heck, even I was born before Lexus. A distinguished sounding voice over + european classical music does not equal history or tradition.
And if you believe what you just posted, kudos to Toyota marketing. They've done an incredible job, no doubt.

Lexus = strives for comfortable and quiet ride. That is what they've always been striving for and they will never forget what they built the Lexus name on. That is what I called history and tradition.
I've been driving a 07 BMW 3series for the past few days and when I got back in my 06 GS I remember why I loved it so much, the steering is soft, I can barely hear any road noise and the ride is comfortable. BMW's are nice for handling and sporty driving and hard steering, nobody is taking that from them but each brand name has their own tradition.
History of consistent build quality and standards? check!
Traditional values of design with comfort in mind? check.

cute, I guess Lexus left that car running while they built the card towers to keep the engine warm, would not want to have a luxury car starting up like it sounds like a V6 4Runner on a cold morning, it is smooth but on cold start up it sounds like a piston is gonna blow through the block
