Congrats, although it lacks the power of the AMG 55 engine, the CLS550 is not underpowered by any means. Look forward to seeing the pics

Thanks, no I did not. All my friends keep ask me the same question. Man no AMG I looked at had all the options I wanted. Since I was trading in my CL I didn't want go down in luxury vs. power. As I posted earlier, the torque in the 55 was amazing until you drive one you will never understand. However, I am happy with my choice, most air heads do not know the differences. In addition, my stop light racing days are over. One thing I can say HK stereo sucks. My 1991 NSX had a better radio.

Like you said, no need for the AMG, just the AMG package, which you have, because except for this board, nobody knows the difference anyway.

What's so obvious? an AMG is an AMG. Lexus offered nothing like it until the IS-F came out.
And to be honest, yeah, i do my like my CLS more. It certainly cost more. The more expensive something is, the more you're going to have to like it to justify the purchase. This thread is about whether he would get a CLS or a GS. Seeing how i owned both for an extended period of time now, i felt like i could give some insight.
So because of how you put that, i'm assuming you like the GS more? I'd love to know why. And if my assumption is wrong, then there should be no reason for what you posted.

Nice color. Man that CLS look so bosses. I ran mine pretty hard this weekend on a hot date. Once again thanks everyone for your help. I truly feel I made the right choice. Trust me all your opinions played a role in my decision b/c I was very undecide. No matter what car you own drive the h e l l out of it.
