I see at least 54 pages of modifications, small to large. You don't need a specific tuning house to offer mods, but if that makes you feel better about yourself, go ahead and roll up and smoke the sauerkraut.

Junction Produce, TTE, Toms are just a few names. Lexus had 3 GSs are SEMA last year and will offer another this year.

Looking at both cars, they have ample aftermarket support.

Oh and I also picked the CLS as rogers pick.
Uh ok..

Wow this is why I love club lexus, people pick the better car regardless of badge. So easy, the CLS, try to get the 55 AMG, with the supercharger, which I would prefer over the 63, because it is easier to boost the power of the charger. But even the base 500 and 550 have good power, so you can't go wrong.

Try to find another board even remotely as objective as this one, especially a luxury brand board. CLS vs GS is still a matter of opinion.

Now someone post more pics of a CLS before I do

I would say CLS but then again I hope you have plenty of money saved up for problems and maintenance and I would be very worried about the reliability of an expensive Mercedes vehicle. If I did not have a chunk of money saved up, did not want to deal with reliability problems, or feel like spending the extra money of maintenance then the GS would be a no brainer. As much as I like the CLS inside and out I am not at all impressed by Mercedes or most German cars reliability track record and how overpriced they are but car for car I still highly prefer the CLS. The CLS is a hell of a nice sedan especially an AMG model and makes the new GS seem like a Avalon in comparison, but then again Avalons are generally trouble free, much less expensive to own, make much more sense during these times, and much less likely to let you down and leave you stranded on the side of the rode with really expensive repairs.

I'm not too concern about Mercedes reliability or mainteance. I currently own a CL500 and this car hasn't been a walk in the park. Once again thanks everyone. Hopefully I'll have the CLS by this weekend.

With 54k miles, you should get an extended warranty. These cars are expensive to fix.

Good luck with your purchase

Update:
The cars actually had 38k miles on the odometer. The CLS 55 is a breast. I didn't think the car would roar like that. Oh my goods. All I could think about is what would I tell the officer when he pulls me over for speeding.
But I decide not to purchase the car because something just didn't feel right. I got the sense that someone had abuse the car plus it didn't have all the options I desire. I decide to purchase a Blk on Blk CLS from Euro Motors Mercedes in Germantown Md. My car should be here on Thursday. I'll have pics by friday.

Congrats on your car!

I've been looking at getting a Benz as well (E55). Why can't Lexus have something for those of us that crave some unnecessary power!
