They were also amused at the way we disassembled the cars that were on display and I mean literally disassembled. The techies wanted to know all the ins and outs so placement of the oil filter and engine block heater was just as important as what's under the rear seat and the placement of the battery and spare tyre.
I wasn't able to talkto Jim Lentz but there is an interview with him on Youtube that one of us posted

Note that it's a little hard to hear what he says, after all English isn't his first language.
Another Q&A with the Chief. This one's a little easier to listen to

Solar has HUGE potential and will be big in the future of the world. Every day we get enough sun energy hitting earth to provide energy for the whole world for ~18 years. Problem is, first solar panels had an efficiency of about 5%. Current newest Thin Film panels have about 15%. Nano technology promises at least 40%. Once it goes over 50%, we'll be able to pretty much live off solar.

More US News:
What looks to be the top package will be the silver one shown at the press release. That would be the one with 17" alloys, LED headlights, PCS/ACC/LKA, IPA and so forth. The solar panels and moonroof will not be combined with the above features.
