going tonight to look at a lexus is 200 sport just looking to no are they good enough car engine ways and is they anything i should check for before buying the car

 

little bit the wrong section ... we've got a 1IS section where (if you do a search) you will find lots of info about what you want to look for.

1IS is an awesome car, you wanna make sure the 90k service is done if it's around the 90k region (it's a pricy one) ... inquire about the CD changer (little probleatic) and make sure there aren't any codes being thrown

all that said, i didn't know any of that when I got mine & had to take care of most of it myself, and i wasn't too put out about it

My friend had bought an IS200 when he was working in Taiwan. He thought it was adequate but the engine to him was underpowered. Everything else is similar to the IS300 so that would be all good.
