Should I even mess with this car?????
why did you leave the parts on it? forget that, I would have said see ya. Its the priniciple of the thing at this point, she totally screwed you. Its an AUTO Supra TT, those are not special, its the 6 spd manuals you want, plus at 150,000 miles driven hard, put away wet, I don't think its that awesome of a deal as you think it is.

I dont do stuff like that. Im an adult.
I did tell her everything that was wrong with it, btw. I WAS going to offer about $10K for it.
I didnt realize until I got there, that it has a nice 4" exhaust, blitz blow off valve, greddy boost controller and turbo timer, has new carpet, new apolstry on the seats, and a nice stereo set up with flush mounted amps in the back, ....and what not.
Even with all that, it still has alot of miles, has low compression numbers, rear quarter panel has a dent that needs to be fixed and painted, hatch has some rust, needs a rear strut, and the engine still has a sputter under heavy acceleration.
If I give $13K, by the time I fixed everything, I'll have $15K in it easy. This car isnt worth more than $15K in perfect shape, with all those miles.
Can't say I know much about Supra prices but just reading your comments thus far would make me back off. Somebody convinced her to mod this thing. She is a self admitted hard driver. She obviously spends nothing on maintenance.
Nice that you got rid of some of the engine problems with plugs and the compression was low but it sure wouldn't fill me with the warm fuzzies as to everything else. If she was just as religious on oil changes there could be some deeper issues to contend with.
You already seem to have determined price issues and it doesn't sound like it is a screaming buy. Might not be a bad idea to let it go or wait for her to call. Of course if she calls, something else has gone wrong, she just isn't going to tell you that.

Im going to buy it, today. We settled on $12.5.
As far as maintenence, ...she she she has the oil changed every 3000 miles, and only uses Royal Purple. The oil thats in it looks real good.

You should have taken it then did the tune up!! Hey my son bought a F250 V10 from a guy I work with for $3,000 excellent condition in and out book value $10,800 the reason it was cheap. The engine has a miss probably a blown cylinder mechanic recommends a new engine for $7,800. Now it has check engine light on also sounds like crap pow pow etc. from exhaust. So he said GOOD LUCK!!! he thinks it is toast bought a new truck. We got it home 20 miles no trouble. Put in 10 new Ford plugs and it runs pretty darn good check engine light is out. Champion plugs were shot. the noises were from the muffler it is nothing but SWISS CHEESE (The mechanic was a gas station shoemaker)

I bought it today. It runs really good actually. The first time I drove it, it had year old gas it it. I drove it 70 miles today, and it did good. Im going to clean it up, change all the fluids, replace leaky gaskets, and start putting all my goodies on!
Sweet man good move
. That car is worth at least 18k especially with a redone interior so you definitely got a deal. And yes autos are worth less but usually by only about 4-5k. Not as fun to drive as a 6 speed but hey it's still a supra haha. Just don't go nuts with that boost controller!

I would try to beat her *** up on the price. Take 3-5k and dump on the car to freshen her up, and dont ever sell that car. It will be the collector car of the future. The collector car market is basically based on guys who want to drive what they liked when they were kids. With the import scene taking off since the late 80's the cars like the supra,z32,NSX,RX7,etc will be very valuable in the future
