not too well here. they all think it's a ghetto cruiser or mexican low rider kind of thing. no offense to anyone.. .that's just what most people think when they see my car here, our car culture is pretty pathetic. sometimes theylook and turn away quicklly, like i'm going to shoot someone or something!
. I went to Walgreens last night and the guy at the register asked what I do for a living b/c I drive a nice car....
The girls are impressed according to my girlfriends friends but not like my friends Lamborghini impressed...
A lot of my friends have Lotuses (Loti?) but its so true that it attracts little kids... hahaha.

Where I live, a lot of women here drives pick-up trucks! Most of the high scholl and college girls drive imports(civics, tC, accords, etc.) and most cars are modified. Whenever I go towards the busy city areas, I mostly see women drive Benz and B'mers.

The plural of Lotus when refering to Lotus Cars (i.e. us) is Lotus (not Loti
or Lotuses etc)
If the sentence feels unbalanced then you may wish to pluralise the sentence by saying Lotus cars.
Eg: There were lots of Lotus in the carpark
or There were lots Lotus cars in the carpark.
When refering to the plural of Elise, then it is Elises

this sucks.. back in college year starting of 2000, no girls or anyone would compliment on my 1992 camry, or my 1991 acura legend coup, or my 93 es300, nor the oldsmobile achivea.
Now i'm driving a audi 2.7t a6 and i always get a "this is your car?" from old female college friends. i think it's a compliment...
i some how can define the cars that certain type of girls would dig...
let's start with age: 15-21 are into nice ricers, or bmw, anything that's flashy.
age: 22-28 are into more of bmw, lexus benz , or any exotic cars.
age: 29 - up , loves any type of luxury cars as long as they know you're not leasing.
then there are girls you can judge by their fashion.
girl with expensive LV, Gucci bags : loves new cars: BMW, AUDI, BENZ, exotic cars.
girls with nice flashy style but no name brands: they don't really care for the brand of the car, as long as it's looks expensive, nice , clean and drives smooth.
girls that dress all tom-boy : digs any ricers or custom cars.
girls with the nice tight jeans, like ones from a rap video digs anything that has 20's and shiny.
the punk rock chicks : they don't care what type of car, as long as it moves..
please add if i miss any stereotypical behind..

Incorrect. There is nothing about a Beetle that necessarily says "gay". That is just one more old auto stereotype that is nonsense. To an extent, however, it is a "feminine" car in that more women buy them than men......the car is definitely popular among women, not gays. That is why I made the statement that I did that a man driving one would catering more or less to his girl friend.....not to a gay "boy friend".

I had everything from a lincoln continental with the Gangter doors/ 20" spokes, looked awesome, miatas, jeeps, eclipses, Audi A6 w/19's fully done up, and current gs 400 fully done and i have never had a girl saying anything to me.People say i look meanor because I guess becuase i always had my girlfriend in the car which i met at work...

Hmmm really?...maybe its just the older people... in the area of the OC I live Mercedes, BMW, and Lexus are all common stuff... the girls around my age are like oh just another one... the only cars that catch their eyes really are the exotics and Porsches

BENZ's,BMW, and LEXUS. Women like what is exspensive and luxurious. They also like chrome wheels ( like sharks some women are attracted to shiny things). lol Id also have to say some are attracted to any car in front of a nice house. You have to watch some of these girls
