I want to see people try that in Atlanta... They'd get run off the road. LOL

Hypermiling consists of literally dozens and dozens of highly skilled driving techniques, only a few of which can be considered dangerous or illegal. I was able to employ just a few hypermiling techniques and was able to get 35 MPG out of my V6 Accord. (EPA rated 21 city, 28 HWY.) I didn't require doing anything stupid or illegal. It was fun, challenging and beating, the EPA.

Quote: drafting ftw!
Drafting is idiotically dangerous. As is turning off the engine while moving (as this also disables power steering and brakes for starters!).

It was odd that they were discussing CT yet there were videos of Atlanta in there.

I use to be from CT and now I'm in Atlanta...

well then don't do it lol. There are plenty of other techniques that you can employ depending on your local terrain, traffic, routes etc. There isn't one set of magical techniques that apply to every single place on this continent.
