After years of saying "You never see a Lexus with one of those cheesy fake convertilbe tops, like a Caddy or Lincoln", I finally saw one today. A red LS 460 with a tan top--I wasn't quick enough to snap a pix. Thank g-d there were no white walls.

 

I snapped a pic with my phone of a Jag S-type with one, it was horrific

Speaking of soft top, I've seen a few LS430's with these tops, they look awesome!

Soft tops on new cars are just strange to me...but then again so are white-walled tires.

 

Wow this is a funny thread since I saw a black ES330 a couple months back with a tan top and for a second I freaked out and was wondering why I never knew about Lexus making an ES convertible? LOL, but then I came to my senses and realized it was fake, but didn't react quick enough to take a picture ...

 

its not meant to be a convertible, its suppose to mimic the cadillac ragtop some of their vehicles it has

regardless its still hideous on any vehicle

I think they are absoltuely hideous. I respect that those who get them that way obviously like that, but it is not my taste.

 

There's a gal at our school with one of those roofs on her ES300. It lucks really funky.

 

I have a Gucci one on my car. It matches my Gucci headliner and Gucci seats.
