not sure if it started today. looks nice, more elegant imho. it has more "feel" of the jp lexus site i think. the is-f is better integrated now, and also lexus make the concept section more "pronounced"
If they hired someone to translate the Lexus.jp info that would be spectacular. That site is a gold mine of info from design features to manufacturing...and has anyone seen that brand philosophy animation/multilevel chart?
However, the new site is improved...the commercials/etc are listed here:
They finally added an E-mail box for non-Lexus owners to contact tham and ask questions. That was something long-missing from the older sites. A lot of people don't want to sit there with the phone on hold.
More of a reskin than any new content. A little too bland for me, especially for cars with exclusive colors such as the LS600hL (Black Opal) and the IS-F (where the hell is Ultrasonic Blue?). Look at the jp site and it shows those important cars with their featured colors. The concept section is still sorely missing info on the LF-Xh also. Overall not a bad update but just need a few more tweaks.

who said only lexus owners can email them? in the old contact page you can always contact lexus regardless of whether you are lexus owner or not

The 1-800 phone option was always there, but E-Mail,, as I remember it, was difficult to do so if you were a non-registered Lexus owner. I remember, before I bought my IS300 and became a Lexus owner, I had to talk to them by phone (I had some quesions about local/regional dealer availablilty and options). I've also talked to them about Lexus purchases for other people as well. They acknowledged that there was no E-mail option at that time for non-owners, and said that would be changed in the future. Apparantly, it has been.
