I purchased my '08 ES350 in December and am very happy with it. I received a survey from Lexus shortly after and I filled it out and mailed it back to them.
Today I received a "2008 New Vehicle Experience Study" from "Strategic Vision" asking me detailed questions about the purchase. It starts off by offering to put me in a lottery for cash prizes up to $30,000 if I complete the survey. This in itself sets off all kinds of warning bells in my mind. It seems like some sort of a marketing study. They promise that my name will not be given to anyone but who knows.
I am tempted to rip it up and throw it away. What do you guys think?
Ever since the purchase of my car, i've received 5 different survey, i filled out the first 3 then i got really annoyed by all these, so i just threw them away..
Give it to them. The more data the auto industry has on vehicle owner satisfaction, the better it can tailor furure vehicles to what the public wants.
Strategic, I think, is one of the auto industry's contract researchers. I've gotten stuff from them myself.
And I'm being fair and objective about that, because I think the new ES350 is a disappointment over its predessor ES330 in several ways, but I congragulate you on your purchase....and am glad you are happy with it.
Welcome to CL, by the way.....I see you are almost a new poster.
