Yay for the SEL! MAN Those things looks ugly without the one piece euro headlights. That was like the FIRST thing I did to mine.

As for modern S-Classes, my vote goes for the 89-00 version (sorry, don't know the code name).

 

Great picture!!! My faves, first and foremost, the W126 (best selling S-Class of all time!), also like the W221 (current) and W140 (successor to the W126).

I loved it when the w140 1st came out and they called it the "Mega-Sedan"
It was sweet when they used it in The Peacemaker with Clooney

They should've used the amg package on the w221 to make it look decent

That 560 sel was GANGSTA with the Lorenzos though

 

Still got one ALL RIGHT!!!!!! and i thought i was the only one here who loved s classes guess not. the 92-99 s class looked nice, but the interior was blah to me, and thats when reliability god bd to, but hell id still have it these are pieces of real german engineering

 

I just think its cool to see a pic like this, to see the progression (or maybe not so, lol). Look at the difference in size!!!

That was the first Benz I ever rode in, and the only reason I ever bought a Benz. And well, the S-class has been all downhill from there...
