Absolutely no problem for a Ducati.

For the grand finale Ducati had one of their MotoGP bikes fitted with studded tires and it was driven on ice.



Ducati's test rider discovers the truth most Mid-west pond racers already know: with studs, there's more traction on ice than there is on dry pavement.

+1 on that but i knew he wouldn't post something like that w/o a NWS warning.

i'm sure studded tires have more traction but are they legal? And the driver'll need one warm jacket.

No.

They're for off-road use only, like dirt bikes and ATVs (or for special shows like what Ducati did).
