They'll put Brabus out of business if they have quad fogs as part of the standard design. lol

That front has been posited in numerous spy shots/renderings, I guess there has to be some truth to the rumor. I expect an evolution of the E-Class shape, but I'm most interested in whether it will be a nice interior or the GLK/C-Class style vs. the S/CL-Class style.

Front end looks similar to what autobild had posted for a while, & autobild's renderings are usually quite close to the actual design that eventually comes out.

I think the current E-class is best looking in class. Surely it will grow in size and gain the SUV fender flares on the new Benz cars. It will also gain giant badges and grills, as that is now deemed "luxurious".

The E-class along with the 5 are the standards of this class, the GS far behind in sales at 3rd. People will buy no matter what.

I think the current E class is a little too "Vanilla" looking. It's not bad by any means, but it just doesn't look expensive. I think the current A6 and 2GS are best looking in class.

Besides the goofy quad fogs (which makes me think this is just a guess by someone bored in photoshop) I think it's promising.
Man, I hope what you are saying is true, Bit. I was thinking along the same line.

Let me just preface that I love the current 211 E-class. If this is the 212, I will take a pass.

Wow, if these photos are really the new E Class then I'd have to say
they RUINED it

Is it too late to remove the quad fogs and make the lights one piece????

I know. Mercedes is killing it's line-up. But people will continue to buy the car because of the name...the R-class proved it.

I revised my opinion and It appears that yes the Hyundai is present in the front, the overal shape is that of a 7-series BMW and the tail lights are def knock-offs of the Lexus LS460.
