I can't believe the best thing I like about this is the INTERIOR. I love the cold storage in the trunk but MARK my words, people will put beer in it and its going to cause trouble.

I like the older rams, the newer ones are getting bland.

Now that you mention it, the Ram does sorta look Cheap on the outside. If the older Rams 1994-2001 Had the updated Hemi in them, they would be solid.

The interior is definitely one of the best I've seen in a full size truck lately, especially compared to the new F-150 that's in the other thread.

Pretty impressive at first glance. The grill in the first pic looks a bit unproportioned and on the large side.

Makes the Tundra look cartoonish. I like this Ram much more. This is simple, muscular, has equal power to the Tundras 5.7L, and has very nifty and creative storage compartments. Not to mention an interior design that puts the Tundras to shame.
I think the tundra's interior is a lot better than the dodge ram's.
Just from looking at the pictures, the interior has no balance and looks cheap. Event the center console is outrageous....its soooo big. The door panels are covered in brown, and look plain and drab. I see plastic everywhere.

Dodge has always been king of trucks to me.
Tundra stands a strong 2nd.
Ford I just cant stand.

I'm no truck person but that one looks darn good, the interior I think may actually look better than the Tundra.

Dang! It actually looks pretty sweet - I opened this thread expecting to see something rather disappointing and/or dumb.

I think Dodge nailed it on this one!

Great job Dodge!

About those side rail storage bins - I wonder if they made the truck wider or the bed narrower?

I'd also be concerned about lots of opportunities for scratches.

Not a difficult accomplishment. The Tundra interior is awful and cheap.

I think narrower is the answer, and the wheel well hump on the rear of the truck is eliminated since it now have the width of the hump going straight vertical for the entire length of the bed...

you can see the bed is narrower in this picture, near the top, how the sides of the bed are sticking out in relation to the tailgate, which is usually flush on trucks

Either way, a full size truck bed will always be designed to hold a 4 foot wide sheet lying flat. Perhaps the spots in front of and behind the wheel wells have been diminished. Don't worry about the bed being to narrow though.

Notice these compartments are an option. The 1st pics have them while the sportier blue model doesn't have them.
