New D2-AUTOSPORT Project Vehicle : VIPER
Hey Guys, things have been really busy and I have not had a chance to even post pics of the new project car that I chose to replace the 7series.
As everyone knows, I strongly believe in being the first partaker, so I use my personal vehicle to represent D2-AUTOSPORT (along with our other project vehicles).
With that being said, the 7series' time was up, and it was time to plan the next vehicle. The entire promo team has run the gamut of luxury and ultra luxury vehicles, so Stefan introduced the idea of moving towards dedicated sports and exotic vehicles. First the Corvete, then the 997TT, then the Gallardo. When I looked at all the options out there, the Viper just fit the bill: speed, exclusivity, reliability, aftermarket support, and of course wow factor.
It has 500hp, 525lbft tq, and a 8.3l V-10 motor. Top speed is approx 198mph and 0-60 is 3.8sec. It does 60mph in first gear! Lol. It is a car that MUST be handled with reverance and respect or you can expect to be looking at oncoming traffic in a heartbeat! (The day I picked it up, I stomped it and the car went sideways across 2 lanes of the highway! I caught the slide, changed my underwear and have respected the car ever since). You simply can not stomp on the pedals, and jerk the steering wheel, etc.
Its a really different vehicle for me, with my luxury background, but I like it.
Here are some pics, and of course if you guys have questions, let me know:

Derrick,
Absolutely an amazing car. Had the opportunity last summer when Chrysler Canada was showcasing their SRT line-up at a local airport. Driver took me on a hot lap and I swear I almost crapped myself. The amount of pull this car has is incredible. Can't wait to see what you do to it!!

I know what you mean, I test drove one, but didnt really give it much throttle, I was just feeling it out. When I bought mine I got a chance to really push it and I was amazed. Its was scary actually! I have gotten used to it now, but it does take time.
