Anybody heard what Lexus will present in Detroit?

As far as I know, for new displays, the IS-F will probably be the main attraction, though there will also likely be a new LX as well.

Flipside909 can fill in more of those details....he is our press representative with Lexus. You might try PM'ing him.

Default shame on lexus at NAIAS

how wonderful.

NO press conference from lexus at NAIAS.

i wa looking for something on the LF-A or IS coupe or the SC.

i just opened a thread regarding this issue. mods may want to merge


they arent presenting SQUAT. iv seen the press conference schedule for NAIAS - Lexus isnt doing anything.

The Detroit show, though still the largest in the buisness, is gradually declining in importance as others increase in their significance, especially the L.A., Washington, DC, and New York shows.

And that only makes sense. Both the SoCal and DC-Baltimore regions sell a LOT more new vehicles than the Detroit area, the DC area six times as much and the SoCal area ten times.

The Chicago Auto Show draws huge attendance every year. In recent years though, it hasn't had much in the way of new model introductions, or even new concept cars.

The new Lexus buzz has been on since 2005 with the LF-S. Its hard to have new and exciting concepts/production cars every year at every show, no one does it.
