Often I symphathize with corporations when they file infringement suits, but this one is nonsense. Lexus is not only a common name among strippers and **** stars, but is also a very common name for "escorts" and prostitutes. Toyota marketers had to have known that when they chose the Lexus name for the new division......if not, IMO, it is on them for not doing their homework. That's what they get paid good money for.

It's been a common name in the DC-area escort/prostitution buisness for many years, though, obviously, I don't make a habit of patronizing that kind of buisness. Still, names of girls and customers arrested locally make the papers all the time....it's no secret. And there is no reason to believe that other major cities, particularly New York City with its enormous sex-oriented economy, and Las Vegas, where prostitution is legal, are not similiar also.
It's a completely different industry. Lexus has no ground to stand on over a persons name verses a company.
