Post Hummer H3 Black Edition

European Hummer fans will be able to sign up for a limited edition Hummer H3 finished completely in black and packed with €5,000 worth of extras as standard. Just 50 examples will be offered and will go on sale by the end of this year.

The H3 Black Edition is based on the premium H3 Adventure automatic model and combines a full black exterior and plush black leather interior with a set of matt black accessories, including a matt black grille, tubular assist steps, roof crossbars, lockable fuel door, door handles, mirrors and black powder-coated wheels.

Twenty five of the H3 Black Edition models will additionally feature a large electric sliding sunroof. Among the array of standard interior fittings is a fully integrated satnav system.

Too much dull black accents.

I would have painted a lot of the panels glossy black, such as the side mirrors, fenders, bumpers, and such...

Haha when I read the title, I thought about Black Series from MB and how its so gorgeous. So from that I thought that this H3 would be awesome. Turns out to be a disappointment, I just wasted 2 minutes of my time.

hmmm... 5,000 Euros of extras?!?!

If anything, GM wanted to be lazy and not paint the plastic bumper, grille, mirrors and door handles lol.. Isn't the gas cap already black?

Pfft? 5k Euro? Gimme a case of Krylon flat black spray paint and you'll get the same result. They could have at least given it unique wheels instead of blacking out the regular ones.

Boooring!

One of the nicest black edition ever, aside from Black Series MB and GTR black edition.

This car has never made any sense to me. The entire point of buying a Hummer is:
1) To show people how much money you have
2) Your car is bigger than anything else on the road

The H3 is neither expensive (it's too expensive for what you get, but still not that expensive in the big scheme of things) or large (again, it's large but not overwhelmingly so), so what's the point?

I guess its an OK look, but it looks to plastic-ish. I know people like to go for the blacked out look, but that shouldn't be looking like that. Looks to artificial to me, and does not have that sleek look it should. (Like some blacked out escalades, f-150s I have seen)

Id rate it a 6 for effort.
