It is a couple ms faster on the TG track compared to the Audi R8. Also about 2 mph faster (top speed), yet it cost almost double.
Both great cars, that is for sure.
I would probably go with the Audi R8.

Funny how they compare the Aston Martin to Italian thoroughbred racing cars.
But Aston is sooo much more than that. There is a compromise between sport and luxury, but it's a damn good one...

Absolutely fabulous car. 
While Clarkson may have seen it as an awesome cruiser Stig took it around the track the same time as a Pagani Zonda, faster than a Porsche GT3 and others - that is no small feat.
