Default volvo xc90

im not sure if many are you are familiar with the volvo xc90, but what do you guys think about it, as far as looks, driving ect. it seems like a great car that fits a families needs at a decent price, and its not a mini van OHH YEAH!!! lol and has awd . personally i think it looks so much better with the little chrome they added this past year

I used to drive this SUV all the time back when I worked for them (in all the flavors too). Loved it!! Great room, nice interior, and it really drove like a car (more so than the XC70 wagon) but it did have its fair share of build problems. Lose trim, and other small electrical problems. Not sure if you're looking new or used, but the old Turbo six cylinder had a crap load of engine problems. AVOID!! The 2.5T was an okay engine with very little problems but increidbly underpowered. They switched to the 3.2 NA, had a few engine problems initially, but they are pretty much gone now. The V8 was solid. Not many people returned with problems with that model as well. And that engine ROARED!!

It reviewed pretty fair compared to the competition (mid-pack), but now going into 2008, its simply being outclassed. They were a little late to the SUV party, and in traditional Volvo fashion, there wont be a second generation model for another 3-4 years.
