Hope this isn't a repost but I couldn't believe this when I read it.
This company, www.augustacarcare.com is selling tire dressing with real 23ct Italian gold flakes in it. Each bottle is filled by hand and individually numbered. The cost is $45 per bottle.
Sorry but I think it's a little silly. I'm not knocking it but kinda silly to me. The stuff is gonna come off from driving through water and dirt. Plus, I wouldn't want gold flakes on my tires. I guess I have to see it before making a final judgement though.

There are some guys down here that add aluminum to the paint to give it a shine, but then yesterday at the track I heard of a guy who is a painter in the southside of the city who has started adding silver and gold flakes upon request. Well, it might be someone's cup of tea.
