Talking 2009 Corolla S3?

I just found these pictures. It's said 2009 Corolla S3 will loaded with 2.4 I4 engine and sports suspension, etc.
Is it true?

I have to admit, aside from the ugly rims, this car looks pretty darn nice for a Corolla.

It looks like they took the headlights off of a Camry and the grill off a Ford Fusion. Yeah, those rims gotta go..

Those rims also have to go for another reason. If this is going to be a high-performance car (or at least semi-high-performance) and driven fairly hard, those wheels don't look to me like they have enough space for air to get in and cool the rotors...........the spokes are too thick and the holes between them are too small. That could lead to warped rotors, overheated brake fluid, and other problems. The spokes, being reverse-triangular, are also poorly shaped for structural integrity at the point where they join the hub.

I wonder what the weight distribution of that car is with a 2.4L up front?

Yeah, you won't see those rims sold by Toyota. The rest of the car does look decent though.

I doubt they will turbo it unless they do what they did with the Scion TC and offer a supercharger for it through the dealership. Im assuming it is a similar motor that the TC has so. Overall its alot nicer than the previous Corolla.

It is the same motor as the tC.
So the supercharger I assume will be available through Toyota. The current Corolla has one available as well from TRD, I don't think it's offered through Toyota though with a warranty.
