The new year is approaching, and surely enough, every dealership is being bombarded with new 2008 products.
Now, all of us want Ferrari and Aston Martin, but alas, 99% of us on the board will never be able to afford one.
REALISTICALLY, which new 2008 vehicle would you buyANDafford?
If you were to walk into any dealership (with your budget) and pick up a car for you to use, whether it's a daily driver or a weekend cruiser, which would you choose and why?

If I really want to, I can realistically afford to buy one car like the new GT-R, Z06, SL550 or SL55, R8, Porsche 997TT(probably upper limit that I can feel comfortable with), but my top priority the next couple years is a more practical luxury sedan, & that would be between a LS460L & the S550.

I haven't bought a new car before but I am seriously flirting with the IS-F. After seeing it in person and reading the reviews, it seems to be the Lexus STOCK, that I wish my modded GS was.
Outside of that, nothing new really is a consideration. I always wait and buy certified or used.
Ditto on the above by Mike.
If I had to choose something that I could REALISTICALLY afford right now I would say the list goes something like this:
1. The BMW 335Xi Sedan. At around 50K its a realistic vehicle that I can afford and I would get if I wanted it.
2. Since we don't know when the ISF is coming out its my second choice. Plus we don't even know the prices and options that are going to be available. That is the ONLY reason that this 400HP monster in a little box is not my first option.
3. Would be the Infinity M45 Sport Design Package.
For a weekend Car 3 Choices.
1. Audi TT. Again LOVE these little things. I have loved these things for some time now. And they are FUN to drive as well.
2. Honda S2000. I have always been a fan of these cars but for me its not practical as my main car. I would love to get one as MODS are all over the place for it.
Now if I did not have children. I would DEFINITELY be driving or making moves on getting a Ford GT OR the new R8.
