We have a Range and a Cayenne Turbo.
We have a GX470 and I'm not its greatest fan. I liked our old LX470 much more. IMO, just get a 4Runner instead of a GX. I really can't find enough differences to make the price difference worthwhile.

I wanted a Range or an X5, but we ended up with the GX because it was the best deal since we have bought many previous cars from the Lexus dealer.

RAV4 V6 (3rd row option if necessary) or the new Highlander (and Hybrid in the fall). They all use the new 3.5 litre GR series engine so it's fairly fuel efficient and they're larger than their predecessors.

The Highlander's 3rd row is more useful than the RAV4's IMO. The RAV4 is perfect for 5 ppl and TONS of luggage (plus there's a huge underfloor bin) so you can't possible run out of space in that.

I dunno.. are you looking for practicality and space or do you need something more luxurious?

If you're going domestics.... what about the Enclave? or the Acadia.. that one looks pretty stylish and practical and it's fairly large.

I have a 07' Yukon/denali on 26" rims. Next year will be on 28" rims. Gas sucks though. I love it for right now.

I actually traded (well, actually gave my brother) my GS300 and got an RX400h. Very roomy, comfortable, quiet (not that the GS wasn't) and very fuel efficient. You could also consider the new Highlander (7-passenger) if you need more room. The GX is also nice.

Let me know when you change out your rims - I may be interested if you hook a brother up :-)

I drive a big honkin Suburban and I love it. Serves its purpose at least 3 times per week when I am moving furniture, lumber etc. Not to mention my dog gets the back area, my son gets the 2nd row to watch movies, and I am up front with the woman

Yeah the gas mileage sucks, but I honestly don't care.

I drive a Yukon XL when I go back to Canada and yeah the gas mileage sucks but there is no car or crossover (I wouldn't be able to do this in our GX either) that could do what I need it to do, such as carry 6 people and their crap, a pole tree trimmer, and any random crap out to our cottage.

Yeah, gas sucks but its nice to have an SUV I can beat on.

You already know. I'd post up pics if you want to see. It attracks a different kind of attention from the GS. A D-Boy kind if you know what I mean. But this is how we do it down south.lol
