Despite quality/reliability issues, I love the FD for it's styling, unique engineering and capabilities. I also love the FC too.

Stage 3, that silver FD looks simply amazing .

My buddy Michael had a virtual joyride in Mexico when he had his 93 down here and plates of god (diplomatic). We took it all over central Mexico going to tracks.

I drove a yellow one for a few weeks back in late 90ies, it was an amazing machine. Such a difference from nose heavy sports cars of those days, it had the most amazing handling and steering feel compared to all the camaros, corvettes, even supras.

Yup, 2800lbs...I dont think a Mini weighs that little

I love the FD RX7 but those damned motors do NOT last

even the most built up motors ive seen need rebuilding ever 2 years/20-30k mi


styling wise i like the FD but for some reason ive always found myself drawn to the FC

the fuel filter is on top of the diff.

It's unfortunately true about the motors. That is why you see so many people do engine swaps to their RX-7s.

The RX-8 has engine problems as well. Rotary motors just don't last it seems.
