German tuner offers scissor door conversion for Range Rover Sport
Arden transforms Range Rover Sport
13th August 2007
For those who think the Range Rover Sport isn’t distinctive enough, there’s now a scissor door kit available for the British SUV!
The conversion is the work of tuning firm Arden, and costs £11,000. It uses a stainless steel opening mechanism with gas-strut supports to hold the raised doors in place. “They transform every Range Rover Sport into the ultimate show car,” explained a spokesman for the German company.
The scissor doors are part of a range of performance upgrades, including engine tuning, bodykits, new interiors and multimedia packages. Visit www.arden.de for more details.
I'll see your response and up it to his LEXUS KID-esque response:
What is it with these doors. When they first came out I thought they were real cool. Now that even the pow-pow-power wheels have them they're just plain phoney. A beat-up primered civic pulled up next to me with both front and rear bumpers cracked, looked my car up and down and open his door. he looked at me as if he topped me. These now suck. Maybe suicide doors but even they dont seem too functional.
speaking of spinners, 2nite on my way home from the gym i saw a chev optra that was stock except these gawd awful spinners on their 15" rims ... hilarious ... and hideous

Man I see those all the time. I would rather ride on the stock wheels than on that wal-mart plastic junk.
And those lambo doors on that rover don't look any better than plastic spinners. I thought the german tuners had better taste than that.
