I bought this stroller 3 years ago and paid $2000 + tax + shipping.
Well worth the money!

The stroller fits in the trunk of my Ferrari. I am not sure how different a Porsche trunk space is, in volume.
Our Bugaboo By Bas stroller will be advertised on eBay very soon, so anyone looking for one, can check there. For those that could not, or would not stretch to a full $2k, here is your chance to own one for about half that price.
Yes, that's right, this $2k stroller will retain at least 50% of its value even after 3 years. Now, think about that, all those cheap strollers are worthless after 3 years and most end up in the landfill.

I assume this guy typed in the name of the stroller into Google and this thread showed up. I guess 2k dollar strollers that look like pedophile cartoons are not as popular as the owners would like. LOL

I feel bad for people when they feel the need to buy really stupid things that are expensive just to prove that they can. Even more when they sign up for internet forums solely to defend the purchase in a four year old thread and try to sell it. Why not just give your used baby items to a local charity like normal people do? Maybe the stroller was too much of a stretch for this guy and he needs the money back now.

Even if a $300 stroller is worthless after 3 years, at least one would still come out ahead by $700.

You could buy 2 or 3 cheaper Kia's for the price of a Lexus. Or perhaps buy a used Kia and give the rest of the money to charity.

So most responses here are from hyprocrites, right? Like so many forums, full of hypocracy. Full of people that want to have their little dig at something and pass comment or judgement on others more fortunate than them.

If everyone behaved how some of these responders do, what a sad, gray life we would would have. We would all be MR AVERAGE, all driving the same model Lexus with the exact same spec, because after all, we dare not spend extra on something more extravagant.

Hey, don't buy a 5ct diamond ring when you can buy a 1ct.
Go with 15" rims, don't waste money on 19"
Buy a 2 bedroom home not 4 bedrooms.
Go on vacation in the USA, don't bother with the rest of the world
Watch TV on a 19" screen not a 50"
Stay in a 2 star hotel not a 4 star

Yeah, that's right, we can all penny pinch. We can all save $$$ on buying cheaper alternatives. IF WE WANT TO. But some of us don't, and some of us don't need to. The difference on the 'By Bas' stroller in regards to regular Bugaboo strollers is about $1k. The list above is an example where the differences would be more than $1k. I could make that list of differences as long as your arm. No doubt every single one of you can check off many 'extravagances' on the list.
