wow geko29, don't start knocking parents who take their kids in sports cars ... i spent my baby years in a corvette. so log as the parent takes all the proper precautions and isn't being a general fool there is nothing wrong with a baby in a sports car
I'm not knocking parents with kids in sports cars. The AAP (and the law, in most states) says that children under 25lbs have to be in a rear-facing seat. Which cannot be safely put in the front seat of any two-seat car, whether it's a sports car or not. I realize the 911 has something referred to as a back seat, but it won't take a rear-facing child seat either. In a few years when I can afford a C6, you better believe I'm going to take my son tooling around in it. But by then, he'll be in a booster seat so he can ride along safely.
Silly. Just plain silly.
Althought I could too easily afford this stroller I would not have a single reason to. Your wife is right if she's against it.
friend of ours has a diffrent model bugaboo i was checking it out last night it has shocks and you can take apart the carrier to face rear and it is very light.. i think it worth the $$$ they are top on the line stroller gwyneath paltrow and julia robert use it too..
I would never put my son in that stroller. Anyway, I thought our $600 stroller with air filled tires was expensive. To be honest, after a year or two with that stroller it was just too big to carry around and we eventually bought a cheapo $40 stroller to lug the kid around in.

Oh well if Paltrow and Roberts use it then it MUST be great. if you could come up with a few more celebs that use it I might just buy it to lug my groceries around the store. I mean, if they're using it then is just has to be the best thing and well worth the money right?
Nothing personal splitfire but you got to be kidding me about the whole worth-the-money thing.

+1 to you my friend. waste of money is what it is. you can make an expensive version of everything and some people will still buy it.
