Default Classic Import...O yes! Build time for the 280z

Well guys just picked up this baby for real cheap. Only 90k on the engine with no rust on the car. The exterior is in good shape, needs paint and the interior is going to be overhauled. Cant wait!!!! Sorry for the ****ty pics, I'll try and get some better ones soon.

Yes it has 3 pedals with a little stick thing that goes into four places to make it go forward.

Wow, that is in really amazing condition. '76 I'm guessing? Looks incredible for a 30-year old car. Please keep us updated on the project, I love these old (fair)ladies.

Man, this is one of the best condition Z's I've seen! increadible.

How's the engine though? If all else fails, drop a RB26 in it! lol

Nice

Seems like a revival lately...have seen a "fair"-number of these on the roads. Father-in-law has an '82 ZX.

Runs so strong you have no idea. Puts my old GS to shame in the power department.

keep the original engine. it's not like you're going to race this car anyway.

Is it the L28ET version? there's a guy selling a 280 ZX parts car in BC for 500 with a L28ET.

well, considering how heavy the GS is compared to the Z... yeah, GS is a piggy. :P

Engine pix!

Ah, what a beautiful car. A few weeks back, my uncle was refurbishing another 280Z for a guy who got one up in the U.S.

Engine pix!
No Turbo in this one. I'm thinking of just swapping in the the ET manifold and turbo and just doing that, but i'm not sure. I'll get engine pix in a bit, I just stripped the whole interior of carpet and the center console.

Loving the Z man, I've been thinking about building one for a while. You should put an RB25DET in it, I drove an rb powered Z and it was a lot of fun! The swap is not that difficult either! Good luck with the new project!
