no budget at all, its just the first older v12 i saw on ebay and hes never been to keen on japanese cars. hes always had a grudge on things he knew ere japanese, maybe because of ww2. how the hell do i know. but hb a 1990 xjs idk ,all he wants is an older top of the line luxury anything. any opinions, and remember hes old so no m3's or nothing. personally i think he should either get an xjs, bmw 750, i think that an old bentley or rolls would be cool to, and im not worried bout reparing anything, he has the resources

hmm im liking the rolls idea, and sry bout the caps, wasnt paying attention, i know the older rolls are known for just leaking fluids, or some problem like that, does anyone know the specifics on this ?
If you get him one of the 7-series models with I-Drive, MAKE SURE he can handle and understand it...otherwise I would recommend a different vehicle. That is not an easy or user-friendly system to decipher, especially in the 7-series, and especially for an older person not used to high-tech gadgets.
If you're looking at older bimmers, might as well get a classic like the 8 series, or specifically an 840 ci (v8 with equivalent speed of the v12 850, and more reliable/cheaper maintenance).
