Z06~~it Is!
That 505hp V8 W/ Its Light Weight Body Is Just Something Unforgetable! It Might Not Have All The High Quality Leather/metal/plastic Material For The Interior, But It Is Absolutely The Madness Of Performance.

997 turbo FTW the quality in the 996 is crap. the 997 feels nice inside, and the interior is 100x improved. but there is still too many buttons on the console.

z06, why? because you spending 70+k on a performance car and corvette delivers better performance then 911 turbo. Handling, braking, and accel its better then any porshe only carrera GT is better but it cost what?
Also corvette interior quality might not be as good as the Porsche but its still not that bad. After all if youre buying a performance car the last thing you should be looking at is quality of leather and plastics inside. Porsche will break down more and will cost twice the amount to fix i work right next to a porsche repair place and their avg repair ticket is $1800

not sure i get it what the problem is...? is there any porsche currently in production that outperforms the c6 z06? the cgt is no longer in production, and the 997 gt2 is not yet in production (correct me if i'm wrong)

anyway im not sure about the carrera s vs the z06. if it were a gt3 i would definitely do the gt3 in a heartbeat, no questions asked- without thought. but i think id still go with the 997s even though its not a gt3 lol

Well braking is a lock, considering the tuner RUF 911 Turbo R does 0-100 0.4 seconds faster than the stock z06 (8.5 sec vs 8.9), but 0-100-0 in the exact same time (13.1 sec). Handling is debatable, but the z06 rocked pretty much everything on nurburgring with the exception of the $440,000 Carerra GT, so that has to count for something.

If these are your two choices life must be pretty good. And for me, it would be better in the Z06. You can't go 'wrong' with either but I agree with the majority here that the Z06 is the better overall buy.

The Z06 is no doubt the better buy, but the 911 is a better car, especially if you pick a GT3 or GT2 (special version of the 911, like the Z06 is the special version of the 'vette).

Z06 is the hot dog boy racer car, but the Carrera S will feel much more refined.

So BUSTN, are you now considering these in addition to or instead of the LS460L?
