Looks good to me, but I don;t like Yellow Calibers on a black car with chrome wheels, they just don;t match!

Maybe red calipers would be better. Any PS experts wanna try it?Originally Posted by blacksc400

Bigger is not always better.
I think the point is clear. There are many different tastes in the modding game. Many people have the cheddar to pay for their toys. Some believe the bigger the better. In America, size matters. Some like big things. Some like other things. When GFG makes a wheel, you can choose your lip size. These are examples of what they can do and some people like it.Originally Posted by STIG
What's the point of those massive lips? Bigger is not always better.

does it get any bigger than that?

My personal opinion is that anything over 4 inches interferes with the wheels' aesthetics. You won't be able to see the design except from a straight-on view. Sometimes the wheels will look distorted because of all the reflection from so much lip. So massive lip can be cool but also affect the looks.
To each his own, though.

Real VIP cars in japan usually have extended fender work with crazy lips... I love big lip on wheel

The Murci needs big-lipped wheels virtually out of necessity.
The OE wheels have huge backpads to push the wheels out
closer to the fenders (the OE wheels have virtually no lip).
On a three-piece aftermarket wheel, you practically HAVE to use
a big lip to make the offset low enough and the wheel wide enough.
The Murci comes with 18x13 rear wheels stock).
If you wanted, for instance, a 2" lip on the Murci, you'd need to use an 11"
wide inner rim to get to 13" overall... nobody makes it!
Okay... well... we actually make a 21x10.5" inner rim, to make 21x14 wheels for the new
Ferrari 612/599, Bugatti Veyron, and Dodge Viper

I LOVE IT!!
I had this picture floating around on my computer. Though not the best angle, the rear lip looks huge.
