unusual request
i just picked up a set of front seats from a lexus(im unsure of yr or model)they have many motors and both have heaters in them.i was gonna pull the tracks off of them and mount them on the manual tracks in the vehicle i plan on putting them in(no bashing!!! this is my baby and daily driver for 18 yrs now......a 1976 jeep cherokee)it looks like ill have to use all of the motors and tracks originally on it though.where can i find some wiring info on these?he told me they fold forward but ive "jumped the pass seat and it only seems to go forward under power.thanks.
any info at all is greatly appreciated
they are in great cond and i paid 50 bux for them!

Unless those seats came out of a 2-dr Lexus (SC) they're not going to fold forward, but that may not be as bad as it sounds. I had a connection with a wrecking yard years ago that got brand new "lowered" (read, squashed flat) Volvos off the docks (yes they occasionally dropped one from the crane at the import dock). Consequently I had Volvo seats in a '52 Dodge, a '61 Valiant, and helped put them in other cars as well.
I became a little too enamored of the leather on the seats I put in the Valiant (they were as beautiful as they were comfortable), and picked them out on the warehouse floor - without noticing they came out of a 4-door and wouldn't fold. I just mounted the passenger's seat a bit further forward so that it would slide to a position that a backseater could squeeze around it, thinking I would rig something else up later - but it was never necessary. It was a little odd, but was comfortable and worked well for all.

hi guys,i finally got these mounted in my jeep.they look and feel great.the pass side works fine and was easy to wire.just 2 wires for the motors and 2 for the heater.the driver side is proving to be quite difficult though.it has a memory box under the seat and a plug with about 8 or 10 wires.the motors all work fine because when i jump them directly the run fine.does anyone know if i can rig this somehow to work?im not interested in the memory i would just like them to move with the buttons.
again thanks
