What is that 1/4 times?
If so, that's wrong, the S600 and E55 are faster than a few of those cars.
Also isn't the 599 faster than the Enzo?

then i stand corrected. As good as those Mercedes are, I have no idea if they'd be up there with those super cars and their ceramic brakes

The Corvette Z06 was probably #11, if they had continued the list. In fact I have a hard time believing that its 0-100-0 is slower than the Gallardo.

edit: I found an extended version of the same list - Z06 got 13.8... 0.15 seconds slower than the Gallardo... per that test, anyway.

Actually, it might not even have the Civic engine in it. Depends on where it was made. Supposedly, the ones made here in the states come with a variant of the rock-tumber found in the Chevy Cobalt.

Rock-tumber?

I believe they come with the turbo ecotec found in the sky redline and solstice gxp - 260 hp 2.0 liter in factory trim and a very stout little motor, too... great candidate for increased boost - not that you should really need more than 350hp at the absolute most in that Atom... I think any more would be a death wish.

Nice list but out of all of those, my fave is still the Pagani Zonda, nice to see it made it on the list. Although, I am surprised that the Koenisegg CCX wasn't mentioned.

That seems to be the trend. MINI has moved away from the SC and going turbo now too.

The ecotec is a decent motor, but out of curiosity are you really that impressed by it? 240-260HP out of a turbo 2.0 has been done at least a decade ago by;
-Subaru EJ20
-Mitsubishi 4G63
-Toyota 3S-GTE
-Nissan SR20DET
most are extremely stout, a few of them able to approach 500bhp on stock internals
