Porsche 997 GT3 Accident . . .
Ouch.
I'm not understanding the discoloration...?
I would think that having the fuel tank rupture, more of the car would have flame damage...as it looks, the gas combusted at impact and minimal was left to burn the rest of the car...?

And it seems from the report that the Porsche was going 200kph around midnight and just didn't stop at all and ploughed into the back of that tanker. I wonder if the tail lights of the tanker weren't working or is was going really slow and the Porsche driver just totally underestimated how quick he was coming up on the tanker.
That thread reminds me of the bad accident thread we've just debated here.

well the door says gt3...=P
srsly, the rear bumper and the center exhaust should give it away. another gt3 totalled and its driver past away =(. It seems like there are more fatalities with the gt3 compared to the turbo.

WHAT? when I first saw it, I could have sworn it said CT3. I think you guys are mistaken. This is obviously one of the rarely seen cheap knockoff models made in Korea. Clearly no real porsche owner would deface their car door with something so hideous and blatant. I bet it had "Poshu" painted all over the hood.

Yeah. If the sudden impact didn't kill him, the broken bones and disorientation during the fire would have.
