That may very well be the best color combo on this car. After seeing this car, it leaves me speechless. I dont quite have any words to say after seeing pictures of this car. Theres a $10,000 nonrefundable deposit to be on the list for this car with maybe 3 cars total this whole year on average per dealership

I jsut got back form the audi event in houston, texas where they had the le mans series racecar and the R8 and two profesisonal drivers with audi corporate..the works..the R8 WAS i have pix form my phone but dont know how to upload. the color combo was identical to the picture on this thread. It was car number 267 from the production line in germany.

My goodness it is so goddam gorgeous it puts the aston martin to shame.

I really doubt that I like the R8 a lot though especially with this color above. It does look more mean than the Aston's, but not more beautiful overall IMO .

Oh my god. I just cant get enough of this car. Looks even better when looking at it in a everyday setting.

 

Yea., Im not sure about shameful. But the Astons IMO dont have a lick of aggressiveness. Sexy in a curvatious way, but far from aggressive. Both are incredibly great looking cars, but are great looking in different ways.

There are a lot of things I like about the Audi that the Aston doesnt have (such as the rear mounted engine) and vice versa. Its a very strong competitor to the Astons and the Porsches.

 

I agree. The front looks so aggressive. I love it. But the interior looks very plastic, especially around the e-brake. Not the best pic to judge the guages, but I don't think I'll be a big fan of those either.

And I don't think you can compare it to an Aston Martin.

 

There's those salmon colored seats again. People tell me it's a real popular color for interiors in Europe. I personally think it's gross. Everything else is black/gray so it stands out wayyyy too much.

 

That is one great looking car. Audi is on a roll.

 

It would look nicer & classier in Burgundy leather ...
