hated this thing, was hard to predict the amount of steering you had to apply. I drove the 5 at the taste of lexus that had this, on some turns it felt like I was understeering then on others felt like it was oversteering. Active steering was just a real bad idea IMO
Unless you were taking it out on the road (and I know at some Taste of Lexus events you can do that), you were not under real driving conditions where AS really excels. Driving through cones in a parking lot just is not real world stuff. As I mentioned, most people who have it love it and if it is such a bad idea, why did Lexus copy it?
